I was stunned that Malaysia and Greece did not place!

I was devastated when Malaysia and Greece were not called. I mean these 2 girls performed extremely well in the prelims and throughout the entire competition and they truly deserved to be up there. Im mad at MUO for these 2 injustices. Top16 was great...would have been an amazing one if Malaysia and Greece had been included. It was very nice and refreshing to see Portugal placing for the 1st time ever, Netherlands returning to the semis after 18 years, Costa Rica getting its third placement ever thanks to the stunning Johana Solano. It was also nice, refreshing and shocking to some extent to not see any powerhouse (Venezuela, USA, PR, India) into the top10...I thought Venezuela and PR performed very well and would have been great additions to the top10.

Ive been in love with Leila ever since she was crowned Miss Angola in December 2010. She's amazing and gorgeous, and Im glad she put Africa and her country on the map. Congratulations on a job well done Miss Angola, now Miss Universe 2011.

Malaysia won the Ruth Ocumarez Award.

Well done for Shamcey and Leila is truly a QUEEN, I am VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers

Its very refreshing to see that an unpopular country (unpopular in terms of Miss Universe only) has won the award. Everybody was expecting Philippines, PR or Thailand since these are the only 3 countries that had ever won any online voting in MU. Im very happy that Portugal got this distinction. Malaysia clearly did not deserve to win the Ruth Ocumarez Award. She should have been up there with Greece instead of Colombia and either Panama or Netherlands for me.

I cannot see Leyla as a representant of Miss Universe!

Her appeareance is somewhat childish I think.

I´m amazed that the crowd loved her evenening-gown presentation-to me she seemed to have some trouble move in that dress...

Will be interresting to follow her year as Miss Universe...

Still think Philippines were robbed. It was their time to win. Shamcey was truly stunning-and she gave such a good answer to her question.

To see her beaten by Brazil and Ucraine and Angola is a shame...

It was Asias time for victory!

Interesting seeing all countries who speak portugeuse in finale; Brazil, Portugal, Angola...Hmmm.

Still miss Finland in top 16!!

She has been HYPED since she won in the beginning and always were on Tops, she was the winner or in the 1st 3 spots, so she did not make the cut, so that is why she won that award, I am not the only one who says that, visit some other forums were she won this award already.

I just now watched the final and imo Philippines should've won simply because she was the only one who spoke in English Smile
