Who do you think will win it this year?
For those of you who doesn't know about this, Ruth Ocumarez was Miss Dom Rep Universe 2002 and was the most over-hyped contestant in that year in the MU Pageant. She was a Mega-Favorite, but during the final night surprisingly she was left out of the top-15, the pageant that year was held in Puerto Rico. So because of this, THE RUTH OCUMAREZ AWARD was born since 2002 and it is given every year.
Who are your nominees for this year's award?

I think Kosovo is not hyped anymore. She has been totally unnoticiable during MU......
If we think of HYPED girls I would say South Africa and Mexico and USA and Venezuela are the only four that are still hyped basically on every list.
However, I think all four will make the cut, so they won't be clappers
But I would be SO HAPPY if SA, Mex and USA ended up as clappers

From this four I wish SOUTH AFRICA. After Leila MUO should be so sick of African girls that they would say NO to all of them this year!

I agree for you for USA and venzuela
Mexico have chance to clap indeed i was so dissapointed. many girls desevered more to enter in the top 16.ah and Russia will be for sure in the top 16 because the sponsor of the after party is russian and I believe that it's also the national director of the Miss Russia pageant.

It's for overhyped mega-favorites. Czech Rep was a big favourite, maybe not so much on our forum but on the rest intl' forums she was no.1 on many lists... so maybe if we count only our forum 2nd would be Ecuador, 1st definetely Puerto Rico.
