As to introduce new concepts and ideas, Miss Heritage Pageant came up with a new exciting concept. Aspart of the build up to the Grand Finale, Miss Heritage Contestant shall go through Championship Events where they shall show off their skills, apart from the physical beauty .These events shall have the following objectives to ensure the outcomes which are  : 


1. Safeguarding and promoting intangible Heritage. 
2. Leisure and Entertainment 
3. International Unity for Heritage Advocacy 
4. Leadership Skills. 
5. Character Building
6. Team Building. 
7. Education. 
8. Cultural Exchange. 




1. Ludo-Diversity Queen, Championships  


Ludo Diversity refers to the wide diversity in games, sports, physical exercises, dances and acrobatics. Contestants shall engage into traditional games, from different continents where they shall play them as  : 
a. Individuals  b.  In Teams.  
Traditional sports and games are part of intangible heritage and a symbol of the cultural diversity of our societies. They are also an efficient means to convey values of solidarity, diversity, inclusiveness and cultural awareness.




2. Heritage Night of the Gifted.  


a. This competition shall be a Gift performance show, ie Talent in layman’s terms. It shall be based on gifts that are Traditional, Heritage themed depending per country. So each contestant shall show off her country’s culture through the heritage performance. The performance shall be quality and entertaining.  
b. Contestants shall also be put into two groups’ whereby they are required to produce a 5 minute Drama /Play per group which Portrays World Heritage Issues. The play must have a name and must be original and well-coordinated. 




3. Crafts Making Contest 


Each contestant shall bring traditional /cultural materials form her country, which she shall use to hand make a cultural item from her country in front of invigilators  ( observers) .The cultural Craft must represent contestant’s cultural heritage.  The craft item should also show the contestant’s creativity and sense of artistic direction. Duration of making shall be one Hour.  
Crafts are artisanal products are those produced by artisans, either completed by hand, or with the help of hand tools or even mechanical means, as long as the direct manual contribution of the artisan remains the most substantial component of the finished product. the special nature of artisanal products derives from their distinctive features, which can be utilitarian, aesthetics, creative, culturally attached, decorative, functional, traditional, religiously and socially symbolic and significant.  




4. Heritage Congress, Debate and Public Speaking. 


Contestants shall engage in a Heritage themed Debate, discussion and Public Speaking session, where they shall be split in to two groups. Using the English Parliamentary System of Debating. Each Team shall have a Prime Queen that will lead in the ceremony. It shall be divided into the following categories 
a. Discussions on World Heritage Issues ( Round Table)  b. Speeches from every member state. ( Public Speaking) (Prepared speeches) shall be at least 2minutes long and 3 Minutes Maximum. Each contestant is required to give an official speech about her country’s Heritage.  c. Debate   d. ( Heritage Advocacy ) 
 During the period of camp contestants shall have time to meet as a group and come up with a Heritage concept or a project which contestants want World Governments and Heritage Non- Governmental Organizations and others to implement for sustainable development and world progress. This Project /Concept shall be passed as a Law made by the Congress of Queens, and shall be read out by the Prime Queens of Each Side at the end of the Congress as an official Media Release,




5. Heritage Cuisine Chef 


This shall be a culinary contest whereby each contestant shall be required to make a dish from her country.




6. Facebook Voting 


a. Each contestant is required to open a Facebook Page, which shall be used as a voting platform. Eg Odessa Mae Tadaya Miss Heritage Philippines   2014  
 b. Each contestant is required to promote her official Image which shall be on the Miss Heritage Official Facebook Page, as to get more likes which are converted to votes. 
So the contestant Facebook Page LIKES PLUS the Contestant Facebook Official Image LIKES shall be Equals to Total number of Votes.  
Competition runs from now until the 5th of December, a day before the Main event. 


7. Folk Telling /Story telling 


Each contestant is required to tell a folk story, from her country, which shall be at least 3 minutes, Maximum 5 Minutes.  


8. Media and Public Relations 


Contestants are required to engage in a serious Public relations campaign using her local and international media. The number of media releases, on newspapers, tv,blogs, news websites  and magazines shall also be considered and the Judges shall add marks for the Media campaign. Contestant is required, to send scanned copies, links for the media releases to the Pageant Organization as evidence, also post on her official facebook Page.
