Miss Grand International 2015 is the 3rd Miss Grand International pageant. It will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on Sunday October 25th. Lees Garcia, Miss Grand International 2014 of Cuba will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Grand International 2015 to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on Sunday October 25th
"During the press conference of Miss Grand Thailand 2015 held at Centara World on March 23rd, Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, president of Miss Grand International, announced that the 3rd edition of the competition will take place at the Huamark Indoor Stadium in Bangkok on Sunday October 25th with the participation of more than 80 beauties from around the world.
Miss Grand International, which entered the “Grand Slam of Beauty Pageants” last year, will be telecast live on Channel 7 with a simultaneous webcast on internet.
The event had the presence of the current beauty queens Miss Grand International 2014 Lees Garcia; Miss Grand Thailand 2014 Parapadsorn “Pla” Disdamrong (Vice-Miss Supranational 2014 and Top 10 Miss Grand 2014); Miss Intercontinental 2014 winner Patharaporn Wang, and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International winner Ploy Wutthayakorn.
Representatives for Miss Grand International, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Tourism International will be chosen.
Mr. Itsaragrisil also announced that his organization will no longer send delegates to the Miss Earth competition, following the suit of the Miss Venezuela Organization, which stated last week that they would stop sending contestants to Miss Earth because of the crisis in the country. MGT had the rights to the Philippines-based competition in 2014.

There is a rumor that BPCI already holds the franchise for MGI. And there is a rumor that Hannah Sison or Parul Shah might be our representative but as far as I know the franchise is under Pinay Beauty queen academy ,so we will see

I've been following this pageant very close in their official page, also in Facebook and in other beauty pageant forums. And there is now an issue that has touched the nerve of many pageant fellows from this side of the globe and it is an old issue that I've seen before in other beauty pageant.
The contestant from USA will be wearing a sash saying America, and I ask why? Many of us asked if she will be representing the American continent, and she will not of course, she will be representing the United States. Why this pageant has changed this? It is time that many of them should study a little bit more of geography and learn once and for all that America is a continent made up of 35 countries and not just one single country, like some like to call the rest of the other countries The Americas, and that is wrong, it is America.
All 35 countries in America should be respected and treated in the same way as well.
