Re: Kimberly Farrah Singh (TRINIDAD & TOBAGO 2015)
Kimberly Farrah Singh will not represent Trinidad & Tobago at Miss World 2015 because she dethroned.
The official announcement:
"Good evening.
Whilst I do not wish to engage in any war of words with Kimberly, having regard to her Facebook post today, I feel it necessary to briefly respond, in order to protect my name, and to safeguard the integrity of the Miss World franchise.
It is utterly untrue that Kimberly's replacement had anything to do with monies. At no time was she requested to "present an exorbitant amount", or any amount whatsoever.
The delegate selected to represent our country at the Miss World Pageant must undergo intense and rigorous training for same, in various areas, with the highest level of discipline. Despite my concerted efforts to facilitate this with Kimberly, I failed to get the requisite cooperation from her.
Consequently, in order to execute my legal and moral duty as the local franchise holder, I was left with no choice but to replace her following protocol. I have done so with a view to ensuring that Trinidad and Tobago is properly represented on the World Stage.
