Thats a very general statement you made blackmagic. Maybe thats just who she is. I wont say she did not come across as "real" here. And either way, that was the whole point. It makes you remember her. She knows how to be noticed. You see that alot from the latinas, Especially Venezuela. Remember also, she went to acting school. So, they trained her on how to present herself in an interview of this nature

If I must say so myself, I love our accent! I do see where kirkland and Phoenix smurf is coming from. Objectively speaking I thought she could have tone the sexinest without losing who she is specifically for this pageant. And yeah you're right about the latinas doing it to and it's irritating not cool. I loved Miss Ukraine, somehow I think Morely would lap all that innocence up.

Oh yeah shells, latinas do this all the time huh. I mean sometimes it works i think (going overboard) like in the case of Alicia Machado....all the hair tossing etc Twisted Evil

but sometimes the girl will just come across as..well..fake.
But I think Gabbys interview was pretty good. She could take a down just a bit...because she is naturally sexy and spunky and doesnt need to try too hard.

remember phenom it's all about perception and as i see it gabby is naturally spunky and undeniably sexy so the animation comes across here as rehearsed and 'extra' but then again its only my perception...tinnyse has such sad energy in sa and that comes across in her photos and half smiles - much to the surprise of many because she is the spunkiest girl i know...again perception -gabby may be like this 24/7 but you and i know that's a long shot - in any event she is being noticed enough to have placed in two fast track events which is great so her height doesnt seem to be holding her back! super! she is marketing what she has.... phoenix-smurf, i am hoping gabby does very well in this pageant because it would give the powers to be in trinidad and tobago reason to thrust support behind these amazing girls financially...i honestly thought valene should have been miss world last year! she was easily the most beautiful girl on stage at the finals...remember that gown? that smile? her brilliant interview? ahhh - mexico was gorgeous as well and as stunning as angola was in universe, she got sooo HUGE at world!! anyway, i got off track just now, as far as tinnyse is concerned she is demotivated and with good reason, out of respect for my queen i will not elaborate BUT trust me she was really prepared and certainly has the goods to deliver - im still hopeful that with her post arrival transformation (to be seen in a few days) along with a boost in confidence that she still pulls off a good showing for finals...this is the one time that the unpredictable nature of julia an miss world has me anticipating!

Gabby has what it takes to have a strong showing on the final night. I also agree with you that Valene should of placed higher last year. She was great!.

I have hope that Tinnyse can redeem herself and get motivated and forget what ever it is that has her demotivated. I was really surprised she did not make it in the top model finals. Why is she taking so long to change her style a bit?. Why in a few days rather than right now?. We have less than two weeks for the finals. Remember Julia morley is watching the girls as soon as they arrive. She has been on the judging panel for these fast track events. Tinnyse has no time to waste. i hope they have not forgetten about her her or ignored her just yet because she has been not up to par. I hope she gets it right soon. It will be nice to see her in the semis. But, honestly so far it does not look good. Lets see what happens in the next few days

I agree with you that for some it is a matter of perception. I actually dont think its a matter of her being like that 24/7. But, rather who she is or how she presents herself in an interview or video of this nature. It is all about seperating yourself from the rest and gabby understands that. She knows how to be noticed and remembered. She did this video for votes which is only like 33 seconds long. so, she had to do something to make you talk about her enough to remember her. I think even though it may have been to animated to some. She did what she needed to do to be recognised and remembered.

Well, thats up to the person looking at it to determine how they remember her and what part of the video most impacted them. For me she was very charming and she left an impression( a good one).

I agree with you about Valene. At least top 3 I think. Anyway I appreciate your honesty, especially about your own queen. ITs something I also do..and sometimes i get into alot arguments for it. But I think its important to look beyond the sash sometimes right.
