I've read that she comes from a very wealthy family, so I wouldn't be surprised if her dad paid for the crown... Besides, there was a rumour that if the girl with the 'rich' support will win, the girls will do something dramatic on the stage. I guess that walking out the stage after the announcement of Mariam's victory can be considered as a 'dramatic' act, right?

I agree with you a 100%. Ana Karina Añez was plain and I'm glad that she clapped at MU 2004. I think we should have a good look at Mariam's face now because we all know it's going to be altered in the next few months by Osmel. She will definitely get a "face" job
