Maria Mika Maxine Medina (born February 22, 1991) is a Filipino model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe-Philippines 2016 and will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.

Medina was born in Quezon City, Philippines. She is an interior designer who graduated from the College of St. Benilde and Philippine School of Interior Design with an experience in designing residential condominiums. She is also an ace in the field of modeling.

Technically she is already an official candidate in 2012 edition and a favorite for Miss Universe Philippines 2012 , however she was disqualified due to endorsement contract in conflict with a pageant sponsor. She is back this year with a bang!. I am happy the winner is not a Pia prototype. It's time for a world Class Filipina oriental beauty to shine in Miss Universe

That's for sure since she is also under Aces & Queens where Venus, Shamcey, Janine, Ara, Pia comes from. Their camp knows the right formula for their ladies for Miss Universe
