Wow, what a month!!!
Okey, I have TWO things to say to you all
1. Remember Sara Chafak
2. This is Miss Finland pageant, not Miss Universe Finland pageant.
What do I mean?
Well, remember Sara Chafak? Most of you were not happy when she was elected as Miss Finland. And then what happened?
So many of you here and that other place liked her in Miss Universe 2012 and thought she was robbed of a spot at the semifinals.
So, I'm telling you now, give us time. You'll never know, Shirly might surprise you all....
Secondly, this is Miss Finland pageant. Not Miss Universe Finland pageant. We are looking for Miss FINLAND first!! Her duties include SO SO SO SO MUCH MORE than just taking part to Miss Universe pageant. Naturally I'm biased. To me, Shirly is beautiful, but most of all she is one hell of a speaker.
She looked fabulous on the final and add to that she spoke her way to victory. She has a nice body, her catwalk was good. I'm not surpised that she won. I'm happy she won. She is a fantastic, funny and elegant young woman. She will make a fantastic Miss Finland.
It's not just about the look. You have to be captivating, good speakers in person too.
And some girls were not that. That is why they didn't win

If she can talk the talk and walk the walk 
Then I don't see any problem with that at all.
She just need a good transformation to be a MU caliber.
She is half Chinese?

Yes, her mom is chinese. Her dad is finnish.
She was born in Finland and then they moved to Africa, where Shirly lived for seven years in Zambia, Kenya and Tansania.
Then she has lived in Saudi-Arabia as well. In 2014 Shirly spent a year in Beijing, China as an exhange-student.
Then last year she worked for six months in the finnish embassy in the United States.
So we are talking about a really international girl. Smart, educated and well-mannered representative for Miss Universe.
