"We won Miss Universe last December via Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. And just over the weekend, the crown of Miss Golden Universe 2016 was claimed by Maybel Perilla of the Philippines in Manaus, Brazil.

And just to sweeten things a bit, this win was complimented by the 1st Runner-Up finish of the country’s entry in the male division – J Daniel Verano.

Congratulations to MB Philippines Italy Organization which is responsibile for training and sending Maybel to the host city."
