17-year-old Footballer Betim Morina bested 21 other contestants and was crowned Mister Suisse Francophone 2016 on June 11, 2016 at Hotel Eden Palace Montreux (Theatre Barnabe) in Montreux, Switzerland. Betim Morina succeeds Mister Suisse Francophone 2015 Pedro Mendes, who is also the reigning Mister International 2015. Because Betim Morina doesn’t meet the minimum age requirement of the Mister International competition, 24-year-old Yann Akaa, Mister Franchophone 1st Runner-up will represent the Switzerland instead of him at the 2016 edition of Mister International to be held later this year. Venue and date to be announced soon.

Confirmed the first runner up will compete at Mister International but he might compete at Mr World

Second Time's a Charm?

19-year-old Dental technician Betim Morina will represent #Kosovo at the 5th edition of #MisterGlobal2018 to be held on 21st July in Bangkok, Thailand.

At 17 Betim was crowned #MrSwissFrancophone2016 then sent off to Southport, England to represent Switzerland in the Mr World 2016, the youngest among 45 other contestants. He is presently living in the city of Lausanne, in the French-speaking region of Vaud, Switzerland.
