The first runner-up in the recently concluded Miss Universe Canada 2020 pageant will travel to Japan next year for the 60th Miss International beauty pageants.

"Representing 'Love, Peace & Beauty' - I am your Miss International Canada 2020," she wrote on Instagram. "I want to thank every single person that got me to this point because there is no way I could have done this on my own My next few posts will be full of gratitude towards my sponsors & my incredible coach. A familiar face in the international pageant scene, Jemuovic was She was Miss Earth Canada 2016 and Miss Globe Canada 2019.

Remember when we teased would be making a big announcement tonight? We weren’t kidding!

Tamara Jemuovic of Toronto, Ontario, the 1st runner-up at Miss Universe Canada 2020 ( & crowned Miss International Canada 2020) has been appointed Miss Universe Canada 2021 and will represent Canada at Miss Universe 2021 in Eilat, Israel this December.

She was crowned in a private ceremony tonight at LAVELLE in downtown Toronto by past Miss Universe Canada’s; Alyssa Boston (MUC 2019), Paola Nunez Valdez (MUC 2015) and Samantha Tajik (MUC 2008) and National Director - Denis Davilla.

Tamara has been spending this last year training hard to represent Canada at Miss International so we know she’s prepared to take on this title & the competition.

So what does this all mean? Yes, it means there in no national pageant this year. Instead it’s been announced that Miss Universe Canada 2022 will be hosted in the Spring. And ladies applications are open now!
