BEACH BEAUTY is coming back at Miss World 2016!!!

Miss World Beach Beauty was a swimsuit or fast track competition in the Miss World pageant. The Beach Beauty event first started in 2003, when the Miss World Organization decided to have preliminary or fast track events to automatically give a semifinal spot to some of the delegates. This event allowed the Miss World delegates (over 100) to have a chance of being in the semifinals. The winner goes on to make the semifinals automatically. The Beach Beauty event showcased different swimsuits designed by Miss World 1975, Wilnelia Merced. In 2014, the organisation eliminated the swimsuit competition from the pageant. But now, it will come back at Miss World 2016!

For the first time since 1965 Norway is not sending a contestant to Miss World!
Very disappointing! But it seems nobody really cares here in Norway. It is not mentioned in any Norwegian news.

Instead the biggest web newspaper in Norway makes a story of a video of Miss Sweden International 2012 who lifts a man of more than 80 kilos on her shoulders.....

It's very sad! Greece also won't paricipate this year! There was not an official announcement, the national director mention it in an interview! Sad
