me it was 2000.......and there ive learned it was a back to back title for india.....miss uruguay is my bet that year...but after this..i didnt waTCHED MISS WORLD ANYMORE...till now i just watched it through internet and you-tube

well, i think that my first mw was in 1997...but first mw i taped on video cassette was mw 1998 from seychelles...

i remember her!! she was crying backstage so much that she didn´t make the cut...she was beautiufl, but for me she seemed to be too plastic...

Miss World 1994 for me (I was 9 y o at that time). But actually I watched it in 1995 Chinese New Year period through Hong Kong's TVB Pearl. That's when I fall in love with beauty pageants like watching dozens of girls wearing their National Costume and introduced their names,, countries.. Very interesting Smile

I can't remember the year since I was still a kid then and was never interested in pageants. My mom loved watching it. I guess it was in the 80s. A blonde won that time. However, my very first "foray" into Miss World was in 1993. I was expecting Ruffa to win. Obviously, politics came in the way. I never watched it live (or delayed telecast) after that. I only watched it again in 2001 until 2006. After that, no more.
