Meet our Miss Universe Mauritius 2021.

We are pleased to announce that Anne Murielle Ravina from the beautiful Rodrigues Island will represent Mauritius at the 70th Miss Universe Pageant.
The Miss Maurice Organization has been monitoring the current pandemic situation since the beginning of this year and has concluded that it is best to conduct its national pageant in March 2022; 27 regional contestants will compete for the crown of Miss Maurice. Titleholders will be chosen for Miss Universe, Miss Supranational, Miss Asia Pacific, Miss Landscapes and a new franchise which will be announced soon.

Since the Miss Universe Organization announced that their forthcoming pageant will be hosted in Eilat, Israel in December 2021, the Miss Maurice Organization has decided to appoint Murielle as the national representative so she can complete her training sessions in Mauritius and the USA before flying to Eilat. Murielle was also featured in CNN as an inspirational young woman in the African region, along with Miss Universe 2019, Miss Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa.

26 years old Murielle is the very first woman from Rodrigues Island to compete at Miss Universe, she holds a degree in Political Science and is a Secondary School Educator teaching Art and Design. Her portfolio also includes working with HERS, which helps women heal from any forms of violence they have experienced; President of Stars Agency which helps the youth to be a better version of themselves by engaging them in different community projects; a volunteer at Global Shapers Community which involves a group of young people doing social work, and a former Project Manager for GRF, which helps disabled people in her native island.

Even though Murielle is an ambassadress for Rodrigues Island Tourism, as Miss Maurice 2021, she will be promoting Mauritius and its territories, both nationally and internationally. Miss Maurice 2020, Vandana Jeetah will be helping Murielle in her preparations and former Miss Universe Mauritius titleholders have expressed their will to support Murielle in her incredible journey.
The online application for our 2022 national pageant will be available from mid-September.
