Miss Israel 2018 has returned this year again after a much exciting last year with its share of controversies and much more. The organizers are ready to give another year of fun pageant moments and the contestants of the Miss Israel 2018 are being unveiled.
Though there’s still time for the coronation night that will be held on 14th August 2018, the organizers have given a sneak-peak into this year’s contestant’s mini profile.
The opinion of the Israeli people is always of utmost importance to the Miss Israel organization and so every year the contestants are open to public voting. The jury marks also matter to select the final winner. Last year, the voting occurred in a batch of two, first for 4 days since the start of the contest to select the Top 4 and later for 3 days to select the final winner. The judges’ evaluation is added to the public votes.
Till now, 12 candidates have been confirmed for the title of Miss Israel 2018. Have a look at the finalists here
Taline Abu Hanna – 23, model and the Foreign Ministry's ambassador from Nazareth
Shiraz Khalifa – 19, female soldier from Atlit
Michal Mordov – 20, works for a credit company, from Tel Aviv
Valentina Kovalenko – 23 years of age from Rishon Letzion
Ofek Kara – 19, Female Soldier from Jerusalem
Chen Jacob - 20, a discharged soldier from Mevasseret Zion
Emma Eitan – 18, high school student in a biological track from Givatayim.
Sima Melissa – 23 years old Sima is from Rishon Letzion and works for an investment company.
Lily Leah - 18 years old Lily is from Safed before recruitment
Natalie Benyaminov – 23, makeup artist from Ramla
Nicole Reznikov - 18, a high school student from Afula
Ira Nikishin – 21, Female Soldier from Kiryat Bialik

Talleen Abu Hanna that she will be competing in the upcoming Miss israel pageant
Talleen Abu Hanna won Miss Trans israel in 2016 , Abu Hanna went on to win second place in the Miss Trans Star Internacional Beauty Pageant 2016 which was held in
Barcelona on September 17th.
she also appeared in the eighth season of the Israeli edition of Big Brother.

If Talleen Abu Hanna will gonna win then being a transexual is a good story to tell in Miss Universe. It's ironic as Israel is more open about it than the Philippines who has many transexual

Michal Mordov, is a 20 year old soldier in the Israeli army and will represent her country in Miss Universe. She stands 5'8" tall.
The other top 4 finalists were Emma Eitan and Talin Abu Hana, who made history as Israel's first transgender finalist.
