Her surname "Manalo" is a Filipino name. I am not sure about her personal life but this is might be the scenario

Her mom might be the Swedish/Finnish as she mentioned she is 1/4 Swedish and 1/4 Finnish

Or her dad is the Swedish/Finnish but her mom choose her surname instead.

This is the first time we had 1st runner up

The last time we had runner up placement is in 1973

but yes it's boring to see Venezuela winning again. I hoping it would be Romania (they placed both in Miss International and Miss Earth)

Could be, but 95% of the time Venezuela and Philippines are always in the Top 5 or winning, that's what we meant.

Every year are in the top 5 of the pageants and more beautiful girls from other countries stay out.Some of these pageants have lost their interest.
