“Sunday I had the most amazing day attending the Miss Scotland fitness challenge, at the incredible Fitness Frontier.
Chris trained me for Tough Mudder back in 2015, when I was raising funds for The Maryam Najafian Foundation - someone very close to my heart. Therefore, I was very excited to return, to see the whole team again, yet also very much aware of how much pain I would eventually be in.
Chris and his team without a doubt put us through our paces, by not only testing us on our physical ability, but also our mental toughness. In saying that, the most important part was that they kept us fully motivated and full of laughter throughout the day.
It was therefore no surprise that I left the challenge full of endorphins and with such a full heart - mostly because of the support and love that was being spread between all the finalists and trainers.
Thank you very much Fitness Frontier for providing us with the most entertaining and special day - my body is feeling sore today, in the best possible way! As they say ‘no pain, no gain!’”

"Wow Sunday was so much fun. I was in my element competing in the Miss Scotland fitness challenge with all of the finalists. I couldn’t have done it without Chris and his team at Fitness Frontier who were so highly motivating and gave us so much support throughout the day. Being a PE teacher, I am so passionate about sport and physical activity and I would love to use my Miss Scotland platform to not only raise awareness for my chosen charity, Bliss Scotland...but to also be a positive role model to young girls and to show them just how important it is to be physically and mentally healthy.”

Miss Scotland 2019
Keryn Matthew, 24, finished ahead of 17 other candidates and won the title Miss Scotland 2019. The former Edinburgh University student who has been raising funds for the Alzheimer Scotland charity throughout her journey, now has her eyes on the blue Miss World crown. She will compete in Thailand, on December 7th.
Let´s remember that in 2018 Miss Scotland Linzi McLelland made it to Miss World´s Top 12 and was crowned Miss United Kingdom.
