Miss World Malta 2019
Nicole Vella, 19, from Rabat, is the winner for Miss World Malta 2019, a national competition held at the Malta Opera Theater Square, on Saturday, June 8th.

It was the 23rd edition of Miss World Malta under the organization of Modelle International and national directors Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja.

Miss World Malta 2019 will compete at the 69th edition of Miss World, on December 7th, in Thailand.Natalya Galdes placed 2nd and won the “Miss Personality” award. The Beauty With a Purpose award, which this year was dedicated to Dr. KLOWN, went to Lara Camilleri after her great efforts raising over € 4,000 for social work. Lara placed 3rd.

The winner´s mom, singer Debbie Scerri, represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997, in Dublin (thanks to Sally-Ann Fawcett for this info!). Now it´s Nicole´s turn to represent Malta in a major international competition!
