Meet the first ever Mister World Myanmar 2019
Seventeen candidates competed for the title Mister World Myanmar 2019, a competition which lasted for three weeks. The final event took place at the Grand Ballroom of Taw Win Garden Hotel, in Yangon, Myanmar, and the winner was Sai Kaung Min Htet, 21, 1.83 m-tall, from Tachileik, Eastern Shan State.

Mister World Myanmar 2019 is a student of electronic engineering (3rd year) at the Technological University in Kyaing Tong.

He also won the People’s Choice and Top Model fast-track titles.

Aung Thura Zaw placed 2nd, followed by Sa Lin Htet in 3rd place, Hein Sitt Thant (4th), and Ye Yint Nay Lin (5th).

Sai Kaung Min Htet is Mr World - Myanmar 2019

The 21-year-old social activist and model will compete at the 2019 Mr World finals to be held in August in the Philippines.

Sai Kaung is an electrical communication engineer student and works as a social activist and model. He also does volunteer work for a charity and contributes in this community. Hobbies include basketball, travelling and learning new cultures. His dream job is to become a famous actor, not only for his personal goals but also to make a difference in the world, to use his voice to inspire people. Personal Motto: ‘Impossible only means that you haven’t found the right solution yet.’
