It's so nice to watch a black and white Miss Universe edition. I wondering how we can make our prediction on these days!

What I've noticed during this edition (1960) those who did not place was introduced first before the top 15 where they introduced their selves in their native language which is not happening anymore. There is no even an interpreter of what they said.

The 1960 edition was held in Miami Beach, Florida on July 9,1960

Philippines did not compete in 1960

The Miss Amity was awarded to miss Burma

And Miss Photogenic is Miss Italy Daniela Bianchi who finish as 1st runner up.

I read an article before than there are some protest for the winner Linda and that Daniela of Italy should've have won that year. Italy very own Miss Universe they never had!

Daniela Bianchi (born 31 January 1942) is an Italian actress, best known for her role of Bond girl Tatiana Romanova in the 1963 movie From Russia with Love. She played a Soviet cipher clerk sent to entrap agent 007, James Bond. Bianchi's father was an Italian Army colonel. She studied ballet for eight years, and later worked as a fashion model.
