Eurovision Song Contest 2020

The Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will be the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The contest is set to take place in the Netherlands, following the country's victory at the 2019 contest in Tel Aviv, Israel, with the song "Arcade" performed by Duncan Laurence. It would be the fifth time that the Netherlands hosts the contest, the last edition having been the 1980 contest.

Host city selection

In the first phase of the bidding process nine cities—Amsterdam, Arnhem, Breda, 's-Hertogenbosch, The Hague, Leeuwarden, Maastricht, Rotterdam, and Utrecht formally applied to bid.

After few weeks the hosting broadcasters shortlisting only Maastricht and Rotterdam:

Which city will be the host? The chosen host venue is set to be announced in mid-August 2019.

Logo

The logo is an abstract representation of the flag colours of the 41 countries participating in 2020 in order of their first participation.

The logo builds on the design of previous editions of the Eurovision Song Contest that were held in the Netherlands.
