Luke Williams represents Wales

Selected in February 2019

Luke Williams has been selected to represent Wales at Mr World 2019! He takes over the reign from Joe Street. Luke speaks about his role, “Being a patriotic, confident and ambitious person, I am very excited to be representing my country in the best way that I can and do them proud.”

Luke is a 24 year old media production graduate from Taffs Well, Cardiff. He works as a marketing executive for Traveline Cymru. Moreover, he runs Brando Luca, an urban and ath-leisure clothing company and blog. Luke’s ambition is to become a successful, renowned entrepreneur. He has a keen interest in Photography and is currently pursuing a start-up photography business, alongside furthering his marketing career. Previously, Luke has worked on the set of a number of TV shows, most notably Dr Who. He has also done modelling work.

Fitness and weight training is an important part of Luke’s lifestyle. He trains between 6-7 times per week. He also enjoys skiing and swimming. In his spare time, Luke likes reading and going to live music events too.

Luke would like to work with the charity Mind UK, Luke explains,
“A charity my grandmother has been involved with for decades and a cause that effects many people that I love. I feel like mental health is constantly overlooked, still to this day, especially within men. I would love to bring this to the forefront and give mental health a platform to be addressed by everyone.”

Luke recently promoted #MENCAN on social media. He bought the Skin Republic For Men Energising Face Mask Sheet, where £1.00 from every sale goes to the charity Real Talk, a product of Grassroutes Suicide Prevention.
