Binibining Pilipinas opens a new era with a bigger and better edition of the most prestigious beauty pageant in the country.

The search is on once again for a new batch of queens who will carry the name of the Philippines across the globe and cement its status as a powerhouse in international pageants.

Interested applicants have until January 31, 2020 to submit their application forms. They will then go through a rigorous screening process courtesy of the esteemed BPCI executive committee that will culminate on February 6.

Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. holds the most successful and decorated pageant in Philippine history; truly a significant milestone of Araneta City, The City of Firsts.

This coming January 13, Steffi Pearson Aberasturi @steffiaberasturi will crown her Binibining Cebu successor. And after that, she will be free to choose the next path to take in the pageant world or otherwise. Will this pretty Cebuana take one step forward and go for Miss Universe Philippines 2020? Or will she wait it out for half a year first before setting herself up for Miss World Philippines 2020? I know that she has been eyeing the latter.

But let’s make it a bit more crowded because she can also sign up for Bb. Pilipinas 2020 if she wants to.

Steffi is ready to go big time in 2020. And she will get all the support needed in whichever national competition she finally decides to give her commitment to.

It’s no secret that Sirene Sutton was disappointed when she completed her Bb. Pilipinas 2017 journey on the losing end of the competition. I briefly spoke to her during a contest judging months after the national engagement, and I felt like she wasn’t keen on returning to the pageant scene anymore. I left it at that and did not push the matter any further. Time can heal setbacks, I know.

And after almost three years, Sirene must already have a completely renewed mindset on the beauty game. And if she does pursue the return in 2020, then we can all welcome her with open arms – regardless of whether she joins one or the other or another.

There was a rumor that MPE Org will let her pass her crown only if she doesn't have any plans of joining different National Pageant. But since she has plans, I heard it was the reason why she did not turn over her title.

NEW YEAR, NEW CAMP | According to our roving DPAs somewhere in Scout Borromeo, Quezon City, former Miss U.S.A Arizona and Miss Eco International 2019 1RU Maureen Montagne has switched pageant camps for what seems to be her last attempt to win a major national pageant title this year.

If you Will check Maureen’s IG story now, she seems to have confirmed this rumor.

But the question is what pageant she will be joining???

BINIBINING MAUREEN: Miss Eco International 2019 1st runner-up, MAUREEN ANNE MONTAGNE (@maureenmontagne) is now at the BPCI office to submit her application for this years' Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

This 5'7" Filipino-French beauty from Batangas is not new in the pageant scene as she had numerous titles such as Mutya Pilipinas Overseas Communities in 2013; Miss Arizona USA in 2015 where she had the chance to compete at the Miss USA pageant, finishing as a Top 15 semifinalist; Century Tuna Superbods Ageless and she joined the Miss World Philippines pageant in 2018 and was crowned Miss Eco Philippines where she had the right to compete at the Miss Eco International pageant last year, finished as the 1st runner-up.
