I am so shocked seeing all non winners contestants walk out. Some of them even express WTF face, and someone in Youtube claims that he sees a girl giving a finger.





MISS EARTH 2002 (dethroned) TERRIBLE ATTITUDE


Džejla Glavović of Bosnia-Herzegovina won the coveted title that year, also receiving Miss Talent. However, on May 28, 2003, the Miss Earth Foundation officially dethroned her "due to her failure to comply with the stipulations in her contract." First runner-up from Kenya, Winfred Omwakwe, took over the position of Miss Earth 2002. Omwakwe was formally crowned as the new Miss Earth 2002 on August 7, 2003 at the Carousel Gardens in Mandaluyong City, Philippines.

# Most of contestants walked out because of not being happy with Miss Bosnia elected as the new Miss Earth. Although the winner was naturally the prettiest during her time, she was not really friendly and the other delegates thought that she had no passion for being Miss Earth. Since then, Miss Earth organizers, change its selection of 16 semifinalists, to include attitude or personality in the criteria and the ability to be an affective advocate to the environment. She made a lot of foes during and after the pageant. She refused to participate in tree planting activities, beach clean-up, and other environmental programs and activities.

# “I have been doing pageants for many years. Since I was 17, I’ve been judging and competing, but this is the first time I have seen this in my career.” In defense of the judges, she said, “It’s not a popularity contest. The judges decided what they saw was right.” Susan Jeske, Miss USA in a previous Miss Earth competition.

# Indeed, if it were Miss Congeniality rather than Miss Earth, it was the view of many candidates that Miss Bosnia-Herzegovina would never have made it. “Miss Bosnia is beautiful. But she is not nice and she cannot be the miss of the Earth” remarked Miss Czech Republic, Apolena Tumova.

# Others aired stronger opinions. Word went the rounds that before leaving the Hotel Inter-Continental Manila for the coronation, Miss Puerto Rico Deidre Rodriguez could not find her national costume, which she said she kept in her room. With help from Carousel Productions, producer of Miss Earth, said assistants knocked on the room of each candidate in a desperate search. # “She always does the wrong things like go in your room and touch your things,” said Miss Paraguay, Adriana Ramos. “Like on the boat. My bag is open and her hand’s inside and she takes a chocolate. And I say you will pay and she says, ‘Ah, no’ and left the chocolate.” -- Miss Paraguay, Adriana Ramos

# During a talent competition, according to Miss Paraguay, Miss Bosnia hurt her. “I had a little crown and she took it and (when I told her to) give it (back), she put it on my head and hurt me,” she recounted. “She (did) not say. ‘I am sorry.’ She just left.” Some candidates claim this year’s winner was rarely present at events organized for the girls. # “I never saw her at events. She was always sick and had headaches. Miss Kenya was always with us, (even) when we (wake) up in the morning. Miss Bosnia (wakes up) late, sleeping in her apartment,” said Miss Guatemala. (NT) -- Miss Guatemala

# Horror stories like these are the more reason that Carousel Productions should SELECT at least six of the 16 semi-finalists, like Miss Universe Organization selects five of the 15 semi-finalists. It will prevent picking the wrong girl and causing more problems!
