Karolina visits The Future for Ukraine Centre

Miss World CEO Julia Morley and reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska have been warmly welcomed by the Ukrainian children at the newly converted Polish Seminary in Ołtarzew, Warsaw.

The facility is the brainchild of Father Miroslav Mejzner who saw the opportunity for the Church to play their part in the support for Ukrainian refugees.

The new facility offers 96 of the most severely traumatised Ukrainian children (and their mothers), safe accommodation, food, educational and psychological support to cope with the losses and horrors that they have suffered as result of the war.

Karolina Bielawska had the last word as she added “This is one of my happiest days as Miss World - Father Miroslav and Father Krys have been an inspiration to me ever since we started fundraising with them in New Jersey last March.

They are very special people and what the Pallotine Order has created here is nothing short of miraculous!”

It was a day to remember for hundreds of schoolchildren and local government Sanitary workers at the NDMC theatre in Delhi.
The Chairwoman and CEO of Miss World Organization Ms. Julia Morley, the reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska and Miss World India 2022 Sini Shetty spoke out for menstrual equality across the world declaring that it should be a basic right for every young women to have access to either free or affordable sanitary pads.

Hong Kong Harbours the 70th Miss World!
Miss World Karolina Bielawska arrived in Hong Kong today on an official visit.
“This is my first time in Hong Kong
- I cannot believe how exciting this city looks at night !”
Karolina was wowed by the bright lights as she toured Kowloon and Hong Kong.
“A bit different from my home - said Karolina “it’s like Christmas in September!”
Karolina is stopping in Hong Kong before her long awaited visit to the Philippines!
“I have always wanted to visit the Philippines said Karolina, “this is one of my dreams!” Tomorrow evening Karolina’s dream will come true
Karolina touches down in Manila at 7:35pm!

Welcome To The Philippines!!

What a first day for reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska as she arrived in the Philippines!
Miss World Chairman and CEO Julia Morley and Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska were welcomed at Manila International Airport by Miss World Philippines’s Licence Holder Arnold Vegafria and Miss World Philippines 2022, Gwendolyne Fourniol.

The arrival was followed by a whirlwind media tour as Karolina and Julia were greeted by more than 100 media at a special press conference at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Ortigas Center.

Karolina’s opening remarks “Mabuhay Manila! This is a dream come true!

I am so looking forward to experiencing the Philippines’ world-acclaimed hospitality, and visiting some of your beautiful scenic tourist destinations and sampling some famous Filipino dishes such as Chicken Adobo! “The Philippines is a destination that fills me with excitement.”

Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria warmly welcomed Karolina and Julia as he remarked “This visit is an affirmation of our two organization’s firm and resolute partnership.”

Julia Morley was delighted to be back in the Philippines “This country is like my second home - I’m so happy to see you all again!”

Julia told the packed media room that she was particularly looking forward to revisiting her longtime friend Father Rocky Evangelista and his Tuloy
Foundation, a non-governmental organization that is committed to the support and transformation of poor, abandoned, homeless and at-risk children.

Through the past years, the foundation has been one of the many beneficiaries of the Miss World Organization, and Julia’s visits have always been such a great source of joy for the children

The Tuloy visit will take place later today!

After their Manila visit, Julia and Karolina will be in preparation for the much-awaited 71st edition of the Miss World Final to be held in New Delhi, India on December 16th

Beauty With A Purpose in action

Ribbon Cutting and Turn Over Ceremony of the ERDA Foundation BASECO Learning Hub.

Miss World 2022, Karolina Bielawska, and Chairman and CEO Miss World, Julia Morley united with Miss World Philippines 2022, Gwendolyne Fourniol and Miss World Philippines National Director, Arnold Vegafria at a special event to launch the first ever ERDA Foundation BASECO Learning Hub.

The Education Hub is the Beauty With a Purpose project of Gwendolyne Fourniol titles “Bridge the Gap, Build the Future”!

It has been located in one of the poorest parts of old town Manila and will provide the opportunity for thousands of young people in deprived areas, to receive a life transforming education, thus making a huge difference not only in their lives, but in the prospects for their families and the entire local community.

At the ceremony, Julia Morley (on behalf of Beauty With A Purpose) generously donated $20,000 USD to cover the costs for the education of the first 500 children.
“This is Beauty With A Purpose in action” said Julia, “Gwendolyne’s project with the backing of Arnold and the Miss World Philippines Organisation will now result in a brighter future for this whole community - we are so proud of what they have achieved!”
