Last year representative deserves a placement at MU 2021. I couldn't see any worth top 15 in this batch, but since there was a rumor MU 2022 will be held in Costa Rica, they might place again

María Fernanda Rodríguez is the newly crowned Miss Costa Rica 2022. 67th edition of the pageant was held last September 28th at the Estudio Marco Picado, Nunciatura, San José Province, San José, Costa Rica.
Fernanda is 24 years old and hails from San Carlos. She can fluently speak Spanish, English and Portuguese. She earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Not a stranger in pagenatry, Maria holds various titles under her belt. She was Reina Teen Costa Rica Intercontinental 2012, Miss Teen Mesoamérica Internacional 2013, Miss Teen Universe 2015 finalist. In 2017, she was appointed as Miss Earth Costa Rica 2017 during the Reina Costa Rica Intercontinental 2017 finals.

Maria Fernanda is now the official representative of their country in Miss Universe 2023.
