Nancy Salazar is Miss Earth Peru 2022
Nancy Salazar Ruiz representing Piura was crowned Miss Earth Peru 2022 during the finals held August 14 in Lima.The 23-year-old business administration graduate will represent the country at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant later this year. She bested six other aspirants for the title.
Her elemental court included Lima Sur's Maria Pia Huaranca (Miss Aire), La Libertad's Pierina Azañedo (Miss Agua), and Lambayeque's Shantal Vega (Miss Fuego).
"This title is not only carried by me. But all the people who have been behind this path, all those who have accompanied me during my 3 years of contests. I receive this crown with love and I wear it with pride for my beautiful land of Piura," Nancy posted on Instagram.
