Contestant #1, Leanni Tibbetts' motto is "Be the change" and that is exactly what she hopes to do by entering Miss World Cayman Islands 2022. Leanni would like to see more women on the 'world' stage who do not fit the stereotypical definition of femininity.

Contestant #2, Melissa Bridgemohan's motto is "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart". Melissa embodies that quote through her desire to influence other young women to be confident in themselves.

NEW DATE: Saturday, 24 September 2022
In light of the period of national mourning in the Cayman Islands following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we have been advised to reschedule our pageant to Saturday, 24 September 2022.
This means that the Miss World Cayman Islands 2022 pageant will no longer take place on Saturday, 17 September 2022.

Leanni Tibbetts of George Town, Grand Cayman is Miss World - Cayman Islands 2022.
The twenty-five year old is a Pilot/ Coast Guard, and also a Sub Lieutenant for the Cayman Islands Cadet Corps.
Leanni intends to use her platform to empower women especially those in abusive situations. She also wants to highlight environmental initiatives. Leanni lives by the saying “Be the change”.
She will represent her country at the 71st Miss World.
