Miss Washington, June Svedin (right), welcomes Miss Japan, Yoshie Baba, (left) after she arrived at International Airport in Los Angeles. The annual pageant will be held at Long Beach, California, July 20^th. Statistically these two contestants have much in common. Miss Japan is 19. She is 5 foot 4.5 inches tall and measures 35.5-23-35. Miss Washington, 20, is five feet five inches tall. She measures 35.5-23-34. Both are interested in modelling.
