Meet the newly crowned Miss New Zealand 2023 Georgia Waddington. By winning the highly coveted title, she earned the right to represent her country at the 61st Miss International at Tokyo's Yoyogi National Gymnasium 2.

Waddington was crowned by last year's Miss New Zealand and Miss International Oceania 2022 Lydia Smit.

- An Operations Manager, a Project Coordinator for a non-profit organisation/charity, and a Content Creator. Graduated with distinction in Travel and Tourism at the International Travel College of New Zealand.

"My proudest achievement stems from my unwavering dedication to the health sector, where I am an ambassador for one of New Zealand’s largest charities focusing on mental health, and also Brave, which helps to prevent sexual harm among our youth. My most remarkable accomplishment was organising and hosting a highly successful and extremely profitable fundraiser, with the funds dedicated to mental health support and suicide prevention. For Brave, I conducted multiple school visits to raise awareness to thousands of students across New Zealand. Through my ambassadorial work, I aim to inspire others to take action and positively impact their communities."
