This photo was published on 13^th October 1957. G. David Schine, 30, one of the most publicised Private in the Army, obtained a licence yesterday to marry Miss Universe 1955, Miss Sweden, Hillevi Rombin. She is 24 years old, living in New York in hopes of trying her luck in moving pictures. She was offered a part in “The Benny Goodman Story” immediately after her beauty contest triumph.


Mr. Schine now is back in civilian life. He has been president and general manager of the Schine hotel chain since 1950.
