Changing the Miss Universe Competition Participation Format Caused Indecision in Miss Turkey

Turkey's National Competition Director, in a post on the Miss Turkey Official Instagram page, stated that changing the format of the competition is against the principles in our country. However, the Director, who asked the competition candidate ladies and social media followers to write their opinions, added that a final decision could be made accordingly.  Turkey's participation in the Miss Universe Contest has become undecided. Because in the country, the families and surroundings of the girls who will participate in this competition will not allow these girls to compete in the same field with Trans Male individuals and to stay in the same room with these male individuals in the Hotel during the event.
