This photo was published on 14th July, eleven days before the final night. A group of contestants for the title of Miss Universe posed here on the roof of the Savoy-Hilton hotel, during a tour in New York City, last Sunday. From left to right, Miss France, Monique Boulinguez; Miss Netherlands, Corine Rottschäfer; Miss Greece, Marily Kalimopoulou; Miss Chile, Raquel Molina; Miss Denmark, Evy Norlund; Miss Sweden, Birgitta Gardman, Miss Norway, Greta Andersen; Miss Belgium, Liliane Taelemans; and Miss England, Dorothy Hazeldine. The young girls will soon travel to the west coast where the competition will take place.
