Is there a Miss Cook Islands Universe pageant this year? I know about Miss Guam Universe, but Cook Islands,..Im surprised. As for shining in ME, well I hope so, but the last 2 editions have simply shown that you don't need that much beauty to actually win the pageant.

Yes there is, go to Playground Section in the Prediction Game and you can see the Miss Cook Islands Universe contestants, and agree with you with ME, they are not looking for physical beauty..

Engara Gosselin (Miss Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa) won the title of "Miss Cook Islands 2009" together with the "Miss Talent, Miss Beach Wear and the Miss Evening Gown" titles.

Joyana Meyer (Miss Pearl Lounge) was 1st runner up and won the title of "Maine Tapairu" together with the "Miss Photogenic

Uirangi Bishop (Miss Bank of the Cook Islands) was 2nd runner up and won the new title of "Maine Purotu"

Julia Scott (Miss Westpac) won the title of "Miss Interview"

Belinda Nganu (Miss Telecom Cook Islands) won the title of "Miss Congeniality"

The theme for the night was "A Night to Remember".
