Re: Miss Universe Ireland 2024
Welcome Sindy
“Hey, my name is Sindy and I'm 19 years old. I am so grateful and excited to be a finalist in this year's Miss Universe Ireland.
I am a proud Albanian and I was born in Dublin, Ireland, where I was brought up with a mix of cultures.
I am currently in college, and I study law and psychology, and it is my biggest dream to become a criminal lawyer because I believe in the importance of protecting the rights of individuals. The criminal justice system plays a crucial role in society, and I want to be a part of assuring that everyone receives a fair trial, regardless of their background.
During my psychology studies, I have learned about mental health. How critical it is to approach others with compassion and without judgment, therefore that is why I support @jigsawdublincity.
My hobbies include playing the violin, l've been playing it for more than 10 years. It has taught me patience and discipline; I have learnt to connect with others on a deeper level. To me, it is more than just an instrument, it is a tool for personal growth. It has shown me that I can express myself through music and I hold that dearly to me.
Another one of my hobbies, is I love to go on adventures, whether it is going on walks, exploring new cities or going on a drive. I love getting out of my comfort zone and embracing the unknown. In my opinion, adventure is all about discovering new places, learning about myself and creating memories with my loved ones.
My mother is my biggest supporter, she is my constant source of love, support and guidance throughout my life. She has shaped the person I am today with her strength and wisdom, and I will forever be grateful for her.
Throughout this journey with Miss Universe Ireland, I hope to inspire young women, and I want to raise awareness to mental health and the importance of it.”

I also like running, I have determination and perseverance. I also attend church at St Andrews Presbyterian Church in Blackrock, I love my church family! I was also captain of my dance team in my high school.
The last thing is I have a passion for makeup and cosmetics, I love to practice on myself and on others!
I believe I could be Miss Universe Ireland because I’m very determined and believe I can win! I also believe it’s a huge opportunity and it’s an amazing experience which is very beneficial for me! The ability to meet new people and do something that I love! I have great leadership skills and have good experiences with things such as this. I’m very creative and very committed to this role. Re: Miss Universe Ireland 2024
Welcome Victoria
“My name is Victoria Trokhymchuk ,I'm 21 years old and live in a rural village called Drumshanbo in County Leitrim. In my spare time I like to volunteer with the Equestrian division of Special Olympics Ireland, ride horses and drive trucks.
Throughout my life I have been drawn to motivate, encourage and support people in times of need. Today's world is a tough environment for the up-and-coming woman especially, there's certain expectations from us and society doubts our ability to perform in male dominated areas such as in our work. From my experience being a young girl bullied through her school years and being made feel as if I wasn't enough, left a big dent on my self confidence that I'm only now recovering from. As a girl who never conformed to the norm of what a girl "should do “,
I flourish on emphasising the importance of being kind to the younger generation today and inspire them to go against the social norm. I strive to make a difference through my primary line of work which is working as a healthcare assistant where I help achieve the dreams of those less fortunate than myself. I help and inspire people with physical and intellectual disabilities as well as people of all ages and backgrounds, children in particular to achieve their goals and understand the importance that is kindness.
I believe open mindedness, mutual respect and understanding in today's day and age is the key to making the world a better place. If there's one thing you can be in this world, it is be kind .

Re: Miss Universe Ireland 2024
Welcome Veronica
Hi, my name is Veronica Campelo. I was born in Brazil but now proudly call Ireland and in particular Laois my home. I came to Ireland 12 years ago to study and ended up falling in love with the country and people. Ireland is now my forever home.
I have a busy and happy life, looking after and being a role model for my 1 year old girl, working full time and also pursuing my dreams in the world of modelling and pageants.
Since I came to Ireland I have learned a new language and also completed my studies and gained a bachelor business degree.
In my time working as a fashion model in Ireland I have been honoured to wear some of Ireland's top designers like Audrey O Hanlon, Carina Cunningham, Rose Cloak and Claire Garvey.
I have been involved in many events with Fashion House Ireland supporting numerous charities and raising awareness for different causes like Domestic Violence against Women, Breast Cancer Awareness, Sickle Cell Disease and many more.
Suicide awareness and prevention is a cause close to my heart and is something I strongly believe in. Its OK not to be OK is a phrase that always sticks in my mind.
It would be my honor to represent my country in the Miss Universe Ireland 2024.

Re: Miss Universe Ireland 2024
Welcome Natalie
My name is Natalie Sheehan I am 20 years old. I am from Kerry but have lived in cork for the past 3 years as I am studying social science, which is the study of human society and social relationships, which encompasses psychology, sociology, etc.
I would love to go far with Miss Universe as I believe it is an exceptional opportunity and experience. I am trying to put myself out there more and say yes to things and this is something I have always dreamed about since I was little. I am inspired by the nature and strong morals Miss Universe strives for encouraging women to be confident and powerful that. They also provide us the space to do so and opens doors to amazing opportunities.
I am an easy person to get on with, guided by my heart to empathise with others and try uplift them and not just listen but hear what people are saying, as this society is forgetting to be kind and that it costs nothing to be nice. I have always struggled a lot with my mental health so this is something that stays very close to my heart so I will be hoping to work alongside mental health services as my charity and fundraising. As cliche as it is you really don’t know what people are going through. Personally, I recommend therapy, meditation, spending time with yourself, take care of physical health, social media detox’s and minding your mind, body and soul. What you put into the universe it will come back to you. You should always be your number one top priority.
Through this opportunity, I would love to set up some initiatives and spark my creativity buried in me and inspire people to reignite their flame and take a risk for what their heart desires. As I wish I did all along because we all have had wild dreams and life is too precious to care what people think or let yourself stand in the way of your higher self! If you are reading this I believe in you, and I am proud of you. Your only competition is your past self

Re: Miss Universe Ireland 2024
Welcome Órlaith
Graduating fourth in her class from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies, Órlaith has always been drawn to exploring diverse cultures and languages. Her academic journey provided her with a deep understanding of the complexities and beauty of linguistic and cultural diversity, which later fueled her passion for her own native language, Irish.
After completing her studies, Órlaith embarked on a transformative journey, traveling abroad to immerse herself in different cultures and traditions. She felt compelled to return home and contribute to the revival of the Irish language, but as a way of preserving and nurturing Ireland’s rich cultural heritage. Upon her return, Órlaith founded Na Blátha Craige, a vibrant platform dedicated to promoting the use of the Irish language. Her approach is centered on re-teaching and revitalising the language, making it accessible and engaging for people of all ages and backgrounds. Under her leadership, Na Blátha Craige strives to contribute to tbe ongoing revival of native and indigenous languages, fostering a renewed sense of pride and connection among Irish speakers. Órlaith is not only a Gaeilgóir, but also a keen traveler and an avid environmentalist.
She believes deeply in the interconnectedness of language, land, and identity. For her, promoting the Irish language goes hand in hand with nurturing a deep respect for the environment and a commitment to sustainable living.
She advocates for a holistic approach to cultural revival, where reconnecting with the land and what truly matters can help us better understand our priorities and foster a sense of community. Órlaith’s vision is rooted in the belief that Ireland is truly the land of a thousand welcomes. Through her work, she strives to extend this welcome to everyone, embodying the idea that by embracing and sharing our culture, we can build a more inclusive and vibrant society
