Miss Universe Canada 2024 is the spectacular Ashley Callingbull @ashleycallingbull
She will now represent canada at the 73rd Miss Universe competition this upcoming November in Mexico!! 34 year-old Ashley was born in Enoch Cree Nation near Edmonton in Alberta, to Cree parents. By the age of 10, she had consecutively won all Enoch’s princess crowns in her community. She represented Canada at Miss Friendship International Pageant in China in 2010, Queen of the World in Germany also in 2010, Miss Humanity International in Barbados in 2011 and won the title of Mrs Universe in August 2015 becoming the first indigenous woman to do so.
She won the Role Model Award from the United Nations in 2015, the Youth Award at the Indspire Awards in 2019 and was inducted into the Circle Of Honour at the Esquao Awards in 2016. She was also named one of the Top 10 Power women in Canada.
️In 2022, Ashley was the first Indigenous First Nations woman to become a Sports Illustrated Model.
She is currently an in game host for the National Hockey League, National Lacrosse League and the Canadian Football League.
FUN FACT: In January 2017, during Miss Universe in Manila, Philippines, Ashley participated in MUO’s “Be Pia’s VIP” charity contest by donating to CordAid and got a chance to be crowned by then Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach
