The Colombian representative for the 73rd Miss World Festival was elected on August 4th and she is Andrea Romero, @andrearomerobre , 19, from Barranquilla, Atlantico.

“I understand that many people see beauty contests as something superficial, but Miss World has something different, it merges beauty with a great purpose. I think that having God with me has helped me to be successful in my life,” she said after winning the title of Miss World Colombia 2024.

Romero will have a considerable amount of time to prepare for her international challenge. Her predecessor, Catalina Quintero @cataquintero0707 , will be Colombia’s representative at the 72nd Miss World Festival, early in 2025.
