KAYLA JEAN CARTER APPOINTED AS MISS CHARM PH 2024
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization has announced the appointment of 27-year-old Filipino-American model Kayla Jean Carter as Miss Charm Philippines 2024.Carter, who represented Northern California in the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant, will now go on to compete in the Miss Charm pageant in the United States on August 24, 2024.
Carter, who has familial roots in Talisay, Cebu, was one of the top delegates in this year's Miss Universe Philippines competition.
She was also one of the 10 finalists who competed for four additional titles under the Miss Philippines Organization.
The Miss Charm Philippines 2024 title became available after the previous titleholder vacated the position. As one of the highest-ranking delegates who met all the requirements, including already possessing a U.S. visa, Carter was the ideal choice to fill the vacancy.
"As fate would have it, the Miss Charm Philippines 2024 slot was vacated and needed a new representative. As one of the highest ranking delegates who meets all other requirements, Carter was easily the best choice." the organization stated.
