This photo was published on 27^th July, two days after the final night. Miss Costa Rica, Eugenia Valverde caused a sensation in Long Beach the night before yesterday when she was presented on stage before the Miss Universe election. She was given a special award for her “good sportsmanship and integrity” and those in the know thought that if she had participated, she would have been among the five finalists.
