Miss Universe Estonia 2024

Dear friends! Welcome to the final of the national competition MISS UNIVERSE ESTONIA 2024

The MISS UNIVERSE trademark was founded in 1951, it is a successful global project, the activities of which are aimed at popularizing female leadership, developing tourism, fashion, culture in the international community.

We are pleased to bring Estonia back to the Miss Universe competition after 11 years

1. Are you fluent in Estonian? How many languages do you speak?
• I speak Russian fluently, it is my native language. However, I also speak two other languages English and Estonian.

2. Could you tell us about your educational background ?
• I graduated from high school at Tallinn Humanities Gymnasium in 2020.

3. What professions do your parents have?
• My father is an artist, musician, and sculptor, and my mother is a massage therapist.

4. Have you received any notable awards or titles?
• Since early childhood, I have participated in various fashion shows and beauty contests:

5. In your opinion, why are you the ideal candidate to represent Estonia at Miss Universe?
• I have been a model since I was three years old. I am charming and develop myself not only in this field, but also in other directions. I am learning a lot and I am confident that with this title, I can help more people around the world accept and love themselves and strive toward their positive goals and desires.

6. What are your aspirations for the future?
• I know for sure that I am successful in my fields: dance, Instagram blogging, modeling, sports and I also help people discover their talents and spiritual potential. My dream is that everyone, including myself, will recognize the love for the world and others, and help develop our Universe for the better.

• I speak Estonian and English.

2. Could you tell us about your educational background (university, school, or college)?
• I go to high school, 10th grade in Tallinn.

3. What professions do your parents have?
• My father is a sales consultant and mother is a craftswoman.

4. Have you received any notable awards or titles?
• It’s my first experience.

5. In your opinion, why are you the ideal candidate to represent Estonia at Miss Universe?
• I don’t know because this is my first major model competition.

6. What are your aspirations for the future?
• In the future, I would like to become a model or a singer.

ANNA SHARIPOVA

1. Are you fluent in Estonian? How many languages do you speak?
I speak Estonian, Russian, English.

2. Could you tell us about your educational background (university, school, or college)?
Secondary vocational education, I am a master of textile work, a seamstress-tailor. Now I’m studying at the institute to become a psychologist-consultant.

3. What professions do your parents have?
My mom is now a housewife and a sales consultant by profession. Dad is a businessman, assistant architect.

4. Have you received any notable awards or titles?
“Miss Oriflame 2016” - Miss Glamour
“Teen Miss Estonia 2017” - Miss Actress

5. In your opinion, why are you the ideal candidate to represent Estonia at Miss Universe?
I deserve to become Miss Universe Estonia 2024 because I have the following qualities - I am charismatic, bright, sociable, kind, creative, and I can inspire others. I think these are important qualities for Miss Universe Estonia. I was a volunteer in city projects. I have many talents - I studied and played in the theater for 3 years, I love being photographed, I know my strengths, I have good facial expressions and can convey emotions well. I love dancing, I danced classical dance, high hills, jazz funk, but I fell in love with exotic pole dance and oriental dance. At the moment I am studying to become a psychologist, which is also very valuable and important for me, because I like to study the inner world of people and help people understand themselves and feel better. My victory will be a great motivation for short girls.

6. What are your aspirations for the future?
In the future, I want to become a popular model and my dream is to act in films, I want to become film actress. I want to help people as a psychologist.

ALEKSANDRA GORLATS

I speak Estonian, English, Russian, Spanish, German, Mandarin.

2. Could you tell us about your educational background (university, school, or college)?
Architecture BA (Hons) - University of Westminster

3. What professions do your parents have? Mom - numerologist, dad - businessman

4. Have you received any notable awards or titles?
Miss Eco Estonia 2024, Miss Photogenic by Choisely 2024, VasVas Supermodel 2024

5. In your opinion, why are you the ideal candidate to represent Estonia at Miss Universe?
I deserve to become Miss Universe Estonia because I am a proud representative of my country, driven by confidence. My dedication to achieving my goals and constant desire to grow and learn make me ready to represent Estonia with pride and commitment on the international stage.

6. What are your aspirations for the future?
I believe it’s not about choosing just one path or title for the future, but rather about constant growth and evolving along the way. What I do know is that I want to live a life where I am kind, generous, loving, and truly happy, no matter where my journey takes me.

VALERIA VASILIEVA

1. Are you fluent in Estonian? How many languages do you speak?
I speak Estonian, Russian, English.

2. Could you tell us about your educational background (university, school, or college)?
I finished with excellent marks Gymnasium in Estonian language in Tallinn. After I studied business management and languages. Also during my free time I was learning design, taekwondo, sewing, floristry, beadwork, doing mathematics Olympiads.

3. What professions do your parents have?
My mother is a chef by profession, my little brother is studying at school and my father is a director in a big company.

4. Have you received any notable awards or titles?
I participated in 16+ Beauty Pageants in Estonia and abroad. I won most of them and with respect represented my country Estonia.

5. In your opinion, why are you the ideal candidate to represent Estonia at Miss Universe?
I believe I should become Miss Universe Estonia because I embody a unique combination of beauty, intelligence, and strength. My values and aspirations reflect the spirit of modern women who pursue their dreams and inspire others. I use my long way, experience and success to promote important social messages and support charitable causes. I am not just a representative of Estonia - I am a symbol of hope and inspiration for many.

6. What are your aspirations for the future?
In the future, I envision myself as a successful entrepreneur, having recently founded a talent agency where I transform the talents of Estonian individuals into success stories. I plan to create my own clothing brand, building on the foundation I laid when I designed my first collection at the age of 13. My goal is to be a worthy example for others, demonstrating that with determination and creativity, anything is possible.

IZABEL STOLIAR

1. Are you fluent in Estonian? How many languages do you speak?
I speak Estonian, Russian and English.

2. Could you tell us about your educational background (university, school, or college)?
I am in my third year of college studying logistics.

3. What professions do your parents have?
My parents are very unique people.
My dad is a builder.
My mom is a mother of 11 children, she has many proffessions: cook, doctor, driver, builder, lawyer, economist, financial specialist, teacher, etc.

4. Have you received any notable awards or titles?
In modelling no awards and titles, this is my first experience. And this ja a reflection of me - i ma brave enough to take risks and on very confident about myself.

5. In your opinion, why are you the ideal candidate to represent Estonia at Miss Universe? I believe that every woman deserves this title, but not every woman has the courage to accept it. Since I am a very brave and confident person like i mentioned allready - I really deserve it.

6. What are your aspirations for the future?
I dream of becoming a person who helps as many people as possible to achieve the life they dream and deserve.

KARINA OSKILKO

Yes, I speak Estonian, Russian and English.

2. Could you tell us about your educational background (university, school, or college)?
I graduated a school, and in october i’ll start studying in college.

3. What professions do your parents have?
My mother works at fabric, and my stepfather is working in this fabric office.

4. Have you received any notable awards or titles?
No, it’s my first experience.

5. In your opinion, why are you the ideal candidate to represent Estonia at Miss Universe?
Hard question, all my colleagues are deserve to become a MUA. Maybe, I am one of those people who is fighting “for the right to vote”. I periodically meet people who rub it in my face that I’m Russian. Yes, this is my native language, but I was born in Estonia, and I carry Estonian culture and language within me. Am I alien then? I’m an Estonian girl!

6. What are your aspirations for the future?
I would live more peacefully on Earth, like other people, if they were more prudent and lenient towards others. I dream of mutual understanding in the future so that my children do not suffer. I dream of world peace!

ROMINA KRIZANOVSKAJA

1. Are you fluent in Estonian? How many languages do you speak?
Yes, I speak Estonian, Russian and English.

2. Could you tell us about your educational background (university, school, or college)? Right now, I am in the 12th grade. By the end of the year, I will finish high school. I am studying in school for adults, it helps me to manage my work life and school life in a perfect way.

3. What professions do your parents have?
My mother is a businesswoman, she owns a jewelry store. My father is a long-haul driver.

5. In your opinion, why are you the ideal candidate to represent Estonia at Miss Universe?
I believe I deserve to become Miss Universe Estonia because I am strong enough to represent Estonia in such a big competition. To participate, and especially to win, you need a lot of inner strength, passion, responsibility, and the willingness to accept it. I embody a balance of creativity and intelligence, calmness and sincerity. I am eager to use my voice and art to inspire and connect people. My interest in psychology also helps me understand and support others on a deeper level. For me, beauty is not just about appearance, it’s about inner strength, the ability to inspire those around you, and the willingness to make our world better. I am ready to represent Estonia with dignity and sincerity.

6. What are your aspirations for the future?
In the future, I want to stay true to myself, just better. In today’s world, it’s hard to keep your inner spark, the joy of a child, and the love for life, small things, and people. I try to keep all of this within me. As for my career or calling, my path is uncertain, just like everyone else’s. But I know that what I do should change my life and the lives of others, making them better, happier, more colorful, and peaceful.

MERILI CAROLA

1. Are you fluent in Estonian? How many languages do you speak?
I do speak Estonian and also English and little bit Russian.

2. Could you tell us about your educational background (university, school, or college)? Right now I study in high school. It is my last year in high school.

3. What professions do your parents have?
My dad is police officer and my mom is an Estonian language teacher.

4. Have you received any notable awards or titles?
I got first place (1st runner up) at Miss Dummer World 2024 competition and also I got their Top Model of the World title. I have been at London Fashion Week and London Top Model competition.

5. In your opinion, why are you the ideal candidate to represent Estonia at Miss Universe? I think that all the girls are absolutely beautiful but I hope to become Miss Universe Estonia because of my kindness, friendliness and sincerity. I hope that everyone see that for me it’s not just a beauty contest, but the person’s own personality and intelligence are also important. I think that I am pretty interesting person: I write books and also song lyrics, I dance and I am a dance teacher.

6. What are your aspirations for the future?
I dream to be a happy person who is satisfied with his life. I want to do something I like…maybe it is a choreographer’s job or a psychologist, maybe a lawyer instead…but I am pretty sure I want to go forward with modelling and see the world more.
