Discussion about Miss Sweden in national TV

Yesterday Tv4 had a discussion about Miss Sweden and Miss Sweden Universe with the owners of both pageants in the studio. Some contestants also appeared. For Miss Universe Sweden Linda Myrin who has to be a top contender for the title. She would do so well in Bahamas!!
For Nya Fröken Sverige Panos had two contestants who deffended the "new" concept and looked down on Miss Universe with swimsuit-competitions et al.
Also some left-ving feminists appeared and just put down the whole thing altogether.
Funny how interests in pageants is arasing in Sweden again.
A year ago no one would debate this topic and now Swedens second largest tv-channel is discussing it.
I think it´s a good thing-just to bad no one from Miss World Sweden was invited!

oh...so Panos and the new organizer were on the same panel? interesting indeed.The good thing is as u said that pageants are coming back into the Swedish spotlight again. best of luck to the MU contestants.

If there were a Miss Soap Star Hunter Tylo(Taylor) would win hands down!!And Lesley-Anne Down(Jackie) would be right behind her!

Linda Myrin looked GORGEOUS! I think she should do well in Bahamas. Good luck to Linda.

Yeah! Linda looked like she could carry herself in front of a camera-and that´s a big plus!
But still we have to wait until the pageants tour is on it´s way. Maybe a star is out there in Skellefteå or Kalix??

But I wonder about a thing: Why they picked Linda to represent Miss Universe Sweden in the discussion? No official delegates has been chosen yet, at least what I know.

Linda is a pro when it comes to beautypageants-she appeared in Miss World Sweden 2007, and represented Sweden in some pageant in China earlier this year.
And as you say they don´t have any official contenders yet, but Linda is feautered on their website.
Guess she has a foot in to the finale!!

I liked her in Miss World Sweden, but Annie Oliv won and did us SOO proud in Miss World grabbing a top 5 spot!
