Agree...¡¡ Also i hope that Kim can help on the preparation on the new German delegate for Miss Universe, i can agree that is later than never but is a BIG disventage elected that girl who few days for traveling to Miss Universe, because dont going with adecuade preparation.

YEAH I AGREE DOUKISSA IS A GREAT EXAMPLE, EXCEPT U KNOW ....THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE A GIRL CAN BE TRAINED ALREADY BY HER MODELING AGENCY SO THERE WONT BE A PROB. BUT U KNOW AT THIS POINT, IM JUST GLAD GERMANY WILL BE THERE! Very Happy

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We always cheer for Miss Germany and I am very pleased that Germany will be represented this year. Hope they send a beautiful, deserving girl! The director seems to be poised to make the Miss Germany pageant good!

I agree. Kim has the creditials to make sure a strong contender will represent Germany. Plus, most of the girls from Europe are strong this year so hopefully that will apply to Germany as well. Could we see a top 15 dominated by Europe? That would make me very happy!

The New Miss Universe Germany Organization is introducing herself:

"We are a new organisation for the Miss Universe germany pageant.

We already have a lot of experience in the Netherlands with pageants and since 2 weeks we’ve got the license of Miss Universe Germany and Netherlands as well. We are very enthousiastic and we’d love to get the Miss Universe pageant back in the glamourous life she belongs. Even in the Netherlands and Germany.

The owner is Kim Kötter. She is a formal Miss Universe Netherlands from 2002. She became officially 10th at the Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico and after she competed Miss Europe In Libanon. There she became the 2rd Runner up.

Besides the title she studied Business and Organisation strategy and science at the university.

After the Miss Universe year she organised her first pageants after realizing there were far more better looking girls than her. And living not only at the big cities. She organizes this pageant already for 7 years. It’s a big happening in the Netherlands. It’s a 13 episode TV show and a Finale Live on TV. Kim organizes, produces and hosts the shows.

Next to the backstage activities, she hosts a lot of events and she acts in a tv soapopera. And she opened her own modelagency. Her modelagency has national and international activities. Her models are based every where around the world.

But now Kim feels like organizing the thing she likes most. The Miss Universe.

Why Germany? The grandparents of her father are both German and she lives at the German Border. And last but not least, she likes the culture and manners of the German people very much. This summer she will enter a monastery to learn to speak german fluently and secure. The same monastery Linda de Mol and princess Maxima has done.

Happily for now, English is the most important language if you’ll compete Miss Universe. So why not start this website in English?

Off to a great start. Kim seems very passionate about the Miss Universe organization and wants Miss Germany to be prepared. I am really looking forward to seeing how this plays out. It's as if she is seeking out Miss Germany rather than just holding a pageant and seeing who applies.

"After having a very busy succesfull time with the Miss Universe Netherlands pageant, we can’t wait to start in Germany!
Next weekend the casting and the final will be held! On saturday July 4th is the casting and several workshops and photoshoots. Sunday the 5th is the final.
Both the casting and the final will be organised in Dortmund, during the Caribbean Summer Festival.
The Caribbean Summer Festival is supported by the tourism board of the Bahamas. We’re very happy the Miss Universe final worldwide will be organised at the Bahames as well. This is a beautiful co-operation.
For the girls who filled in their application, you will get a response tomorrow!!!
