Miss Puerto Rico elected as Miss Popularity at Miss International Beauty 2009

Darli Arni Pacheco Montanez, Miss Puerto Rico was elected by the people and viewers as the Miss International Beauty (MIB) 2009 Miss Internet Popularity. The poll was done by Hoang Diep company. Darli Arni Pacheco Montanez was voted by the people as the contestant that is they think most possess the quality of beauty, intelligence, love and beauty of heart.

Miss Puerto Rico garnered the total number of 5110 votes. Tied at 2nd place to got 1700 votes are Miss Belorussia (Oxana Nikiforova), Miss Korea (Yoon-a Lee) and Miss Poland (Julia Piatek). Three delegates tied at 3rd place garnering total votes of 1600 are Miss Russia (Anna Botova), Miss Mongolia (Buyankhishig Unurbayar) and Miss Vietnam (Hoang Thi Vu Diep). Receiving 1200 votes are Miss India (Payel Tarafdar), Miss Thailand (Vasana Wongbuntree), Miss Uzbekistan (Olga Korzhova) and Miss Siberia (Ekaterina Dolgova) who are all tied at 4th place. Lastly in 5th place is Miss France (Morgane Genevieve Gerard) who got 1100 votes.

Vietnam Vu Hoang Diep (photo, right), Miss Vietnam wins the talent award of Miss International Beauty 2009 (MIB) Beauty Pageant.

The talent contest was held on July 16 in China. Vu Hoang Diep made a traditional Vietnamese dance wearing Ao Dai (Vietnam's traditional costume) with dancing hats.

The Miss International Beauty 2009 contest is under way in Beijing, China. Over 70 countries are participating.

The month-long contest resume on August 1, when the winner will be chosen.
