2001 - Elodie Gossuin (The last....She lived many things in Puerto Rico .. the poor but has shown she was a real woman! and few months after she was crowned Miss Europe 2001 in Lebanon)

1953 - Christiane Martel - WINNER
" She later married Miguel Alemán Velasco, who would become Governor of Veracruz and is the son of Miguel Alemán Valdés, former president of Mexico. She presently resides in Mexico in the state of Veracruz. They have three daughters and one son. Their son, Miguel Alemán Magnani is a stakeholder of Televisa and the owner of low-cost airline, Interjet." She was a member of the judges of Miss Universe in 1978 (Acapulco) ; 2007 (Mexico City) and she was the guest of honor in 1989 (Cancun).



1971 - Myriam Stocco - TOP 15


1975 - Sophie Perrin - She competed in El Salvador for the title of Miss Universe but did not place... 1 years later she became Miss International in Tokyo.


1987 - Nathalie Marquay - Not semi-finalist in Singapore for Miss Universe in 1987 but She took place in the semi-final in Miss World in London the same year.

1992 - Linda Hardy - She competed in Bangkok, Thailand for the title of Miss Universe 1992, Not place in the semi-final. Today, She's an actress.

1993 - Véronique de la Cruz (from Guadeloupe) - Not place in the semi-final at Miss Universe in Cancun but she took place in the semi-final in Sun City at Miss World the same year.

Great Post, thanks. Indeed Ms. Martel have been in Mexico for a long time, she is also a Mexican citizen, but I am sure this lady don't forget her roots. For me she is the prettiest Miss France ever, and love her golden years in movies.... :-126-:
