Abuja, Nigeria. An Eboan beauty, Modesta Alozie from the State of Abia was crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2009. She is currently a student at the Imo State University in Nigeria.
Modesta will play an essential role in spreading awareness on various environmental issues in Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa. Modesta belongs to Igbo tribe, one of the three largest and most influential ethnic groups in Nigeria.
