Peter Elias is not there. But, most of the new team consists of people who were apart of Peter Elias and Associates. So, its basically the same people. I have high hopes that they will pick a great representitive for Miss Universe 2010.

A team led by businessman Ian Andrew Lee, along with communications and personality development specialist Adrian Raymond, international fashion photographer Calvin French and model/businesswoman Leah Mari Guevara has been awarded the Miss Universe franchise for Trinidad and Tobago. Former National Director Peter Elias will be a consultant to the newly formed group with official Miss Universe hairstylist Ashvin Bally serving as technical advisor.

The new Miss Trinidad and Tobago will be crowned on November 8, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad and will represent the country at the 2010 Miss Universe pageant.

Screening for the competition will be held Sunday October 18 at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad from 9 am.

Following are requirements for women wanting to take part in the competition:

1. Contestant must be a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago and must have resided in country as her permanent and primary residence.

2. Contestant must be at least 18 years of age and under 27 years of age as of February 1, 2010.

3. Contestant must never have been married nor ever have given birth to a child, nor be a parent.

4. Contestant must bring a swimsuit of her choice and a pair of open toed high heel shoes to the screening.

I had previously said that Peter Elias will not be there but that statment was made before knowing he will be working with this new team. This is great news. Trinidad and Tobago will be strong next year at Miss Universe.

Yes, I think Chenelle was chosen and I hope Kathryn as well. I also think Candice maybe chosen to. Danielle did not take part. I am not sure about Kerry-ann. There are some other girls to who got chosen that are absolutely beautiful. I dont know who I like more. We are going to rock the Miss Universe stage!.

my only concern is that some of these girls are very short. for instance, in tnt's miss trinidad and tobago/miss world competition this year, the shortest girls were meagan monsegue and danielle tardieu-moze...i think kathryn and candice are even shorter..
anyway chenelle is a favourite of mine and she has the height and her look has that special something that keeps you interested. i hope with training she'll stop rambling when she talks.

and here are 14 of the 16!!! =) i think the remaining two are tobagonians. love this crop of girls, all are beautiful...well almost all! there are maybe 1 or 2 that im questioning their relevance on first glance but otherwise, we have some stunners here!!! the crown will definitely be on a trini's head =)

jenna marie andre who was miss tnt world 05 is cometing. she looks thicker now though. she needs to tone up soem. but non the less she is beautiful. she has a thread on here. i remeber june and keshia they're stunners. love chenelle also. AVIONNE MARK grwat bod but very harsh face shes a no no.
overall great group. far better than miss tnt world michal needs to take some lessons.

I like Jenna but she is not my pick for the crown. There are other girls far better than her. June is stunning, Keisha Marie is also so stunning, Shari, Danille,Tizziana, Sarah, Krista, La Toya, Chenelle are all great girls. Trinidad and Tobago could have another Miss Universe here.
