i think she was the best of her bunch,on the same time i cant say she is the num 1 contender....for MW. Still deserving winner.

Better when she doesn't try to smile. Is she a full swede? Kinda looks foreign...

So far I'm not happy with our Nordic girls. None of them stands out

Erica Harrison is a deserving winner of Miss World Sweden 2009!
All of us in the jury had her in first place, but some difference about 1st and 2nd runner-up.
Me myself wanted Malin Söderberg 2 and Ellinor Eriksson 3rd.

Erica has an american father, I don´t know about her mother.
For me Erica looks almost Puerto Rican or latin.
Her father is from USA-you can see family-pics in my blog.

We had only about one week to put the pageant together so it has been a busy time!

But we did it and Erica will make us proud in Miss World-she´s a lovely character, and speak english really good thanks to her fathers family.
She is a dancer, and work in her father constructioncompany, laying roof and such hard stuff.
19 years of age and 1.71 cm long.

Erica is really humble and cried when she won the pageant!

Here´s to our new Miss World Sweden!!!

Yeah, I checked it out and actually I thought that dad was a swede.
but to me her mom does not look like a swede at all

Thats what i like in MW system.......unfortunately i hate 1 dozen things also....

Miss World Sweden is getting ready to leave for Miss World, but before that she will meet with me on Monday to talk about this experience of a lifetime.

Erica is a good dancer who has danced professonally for four years now.
She´s also fluent in english since her father is from USA.
I think this is going to be a superb year for Sweden in Miss World!

I had a lovely talk with Erica yesterday about her preparations for Miss World 2009.
She leaves for London Nov 6.
She has prepared a dancenumber for the Talentcompetition in wich she celebrate the late Michael Jackson.

She also told me that she is from inidan descent on her Mothers side, therefore her dark eyes and when I think of it , she looks indian doesn´t she?

I had the pleasure to meet both Miss World Sweden AND Miss Universe Sweden yesterday!
Renate wanted to give Erica some tips before she left for Miss World.
Wasn´t that nice of her?!

Renate is going to Slovakia later this week to be a judge in Miss Top Model of the world!
She really look forward to this exposure and plan to attend more pageants next year!
