TALENT FAST TRACK
i thought it was interesting that the miss world site made special mention of the fact that joanna brought her steel pans with her to south africa...im hoping that this puts special focus on joanna...just a thought

In just over 2 hours we will know who has won that next fast track place into the Semi-finals of Miss World 2009.
Updated 14. 33 - Barbados is performing a dance to a song that she composed herself...

13.10 - The audience are taking their seats, show starts soon!
13.23 - The crowd is being warmed up, and rapturous applause can be heard from the theatre.
13.40 - Contestants are introduced on stage in traditional costumes and are performing their traditional dances.
13.54 - Sierra Leone has an amazing feather hat and maracas as part of her traditional costume. The contestants look great on stage in their colourful National Dresses.
13.56 - Zimbabwe is the first performer singing a modern version of a traditional song.
13.58 - Australia performs a beautiful ballet dance.....
14.01 - Bahamas talent is playing the steel drum (which she brought all the way with her to South Africa!) - she is on stage now....
14.04 - Indonesia is performing a modern dance, and after this, Norway is going to sing a pop song....
14.08 - Spain has performed a beautiful flamenco dance and now Bolivia, Bulgaria, Lebanon and Albania are performing dances of the world...
14.13 - Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia and Thailand are showcasing their Martial Arts abilities...
14.24 - Gibraltar has just danced and now Guyana is singing in a floor length gold dress with matching elbow length gloves.....
14.27 - Suriname is singing a country and western song with matching accessories (a cowboy hat!!)......
UPDATE!!!! WINNERS ANNOUNCED...
4th place - Australia, 3rd Place - Norway, 2nd place - Korea,. JOINT WINNERS.... BOTH TO BE FAST TRACKED TO THE FINAL AND WILL PERFORM LIVE AT THE FINAL....CANADA & SIERRA LEONE

The other finalists were the contestants from Bahamas, Barbados, Suriname, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Guyana, Gibraltar, Serbia, Thailand, Spain, Indonesia, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Albania and Zimbabwe.

The Miss World Talent finals were held at the Victory Theatre in Johannesburg, a selected group of contestants competed for the title. In 4th place was Australia, 3rd place was Norway, and Korea finished in 2nd place. In an unprecedented tie, the contestants from Canada, Lena Ma, and Sierra Leone, Mariatu Kargbo, shared the first place and are fast tracked into the semifinals.

I'm very happy for Sierra Leone!!! And Canada, they were both amazing... I think Sierra Leone could take it all, but some people disagree with me. That's okay, but they were acting like they were to be-all end-all. They don't know, and ultimately neither do I.
