Last night the new Miss Germany 2010 was crowned at Europapark Rust.

22 girls competed for the title.

Here are the results:

Winner was 19-year old Anne Julia Hagen (Miss Berlin)
1st RU was 20 year old Albana Nocaj (Miss Baden-Württemberg)
2nd RU was 24-year old Reingard Hagemann (Miss Mecklenburg-Vorpommern)

According to the coronation video the winner will represent Germany in Miss Earth 2010 in the Philippines

"Hagen studiert in Berlin Kulturwissenschaft, Anglistik und Amerikanistik. Im vergangenen Jahr hatte sie den Titel „Miss Berlin“ geholt. Bei der Wahl zur „Miss Germany“ setzte sie sich gegen 21 Konkurrentinnen durch. Die Frauen im Alter von 16 bis 24 Jahren mussten sich zunächst in Freizeitbekleidung, später im Abendkleid sowie im Badeanzug präsentieren. Hagen erhielt als Siegerin neben der Krone unter anderem für ein Jahr ein Hybridauto sowie Reisen nach Mauritius, Borkum und Wangerooge. She wasn't my first choice either, but regarding the fact that she's gonna join the Miss Earth pageant this year I must admit that Anne Julia Hagen is more than a good choice...

Coronation video (at 2:05 he says that she's going to participate in the Miss Earth contest this year!) And look at Anne's face, she so knew she would win this!!! She's so nervous, the other girls look rather relaxed... I'm sorry for Bremen, she looked gorgeous!!!

Miss Earth Germany in voluntary misssion: Anne Julia Hagen went to Oldenburg last March 15 where she, together with the local police department, lobbied for civil courage and against violence.
